Our Structure The annual charge conference (local church members) elects our local leaders (held in Oct or Nov). Pastors are assigned annually to churches at the Annual District Conference (held in June). Our Local Church Council is the administration body to carry out the mission of our church as established by the charge conference. The United Methodist Book of Discipline (BOD) describes the details of the local church organization and what positions must be filled by church members or that open to anyone in the congregation (member or not).
