Tom Thumb offers customers a way to direct donation dollars to their favorite church, school or other non-profit organization. Ask at Tom Thumb to link your Reward Card purchases to the Good Neighbor Number 8702 to benefit our church. See the attached form to fill out (you can designate up to three choices) and turn in at Tom Thumb.
Every time you make a purchase using your Reward card, the total purchase will be automatically credited to your organization. Pharmacy, fuel, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products do not count toward the purchase credit. Tom Thumbs pays us 1% of the total purchases at the end of each calendar quarter.
Kroger has the Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program and by taking the attached form to your next grocery store trip you can help your church.
NOTE: Folks can relink their Kroger cards July-Dec. This is required annually.
The Kroger program runs July 1,- April 30,2012 with May and June not collecting any funds for the church. The Annual check is mailed in May.
Details on the program are in the attached letter, but basically:
Print the attached letter or pick up a copy at church to take to your neighborhood Kroger store the next time you go shopping.
Present the letter (it has the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church's barcode on it) to your cashier at checkout with your KrogerPlus Card.
After they have scanned the bar code on the letter and your KrogerPlus Card you will be enrolled for the current year of the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program.
Future purchases will automatically be counted for GSUMC, just by using your KrogerPlus card. You do not need to keep the letter.
It does not cost anything to do this...its only a one time annual scan to set up a member's card for GSUMC donation credits.
Don't forget to participate in the on-line shopping program: onecause
