Our Mission & Vision

The mission of the United Methodist Church is to “make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.”

Our vision at Good Shepherd is:

“Where Every Life Matters and Love Works.”

We live out our mission and vision by:

Encountering God through Worship, Study, Prayer and reading the Bible.

Connecting with Others through our groups and missions in the community and by working with other churches.

Serving  through developing long term relationships with others.

What We Believe:

John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as “practical divinity” has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today.
